Default Re: KQ in the BB vs UTG raise

yeah I think I call a bit too much in the bb vs raises. I think I should treat HU situations as if I m not in the blinds and just never cold call unless I have a specific opponent/read. What kind of odds are u looking for in multiway pots? Lets say MP raises, button calls and you have T9o in the bb getting 5 to 1. Or even 3-4 way pots when you are suited in the big blind. I tend to call a lot with hands that can flop big and try to avoid trouble hands like KJ even when I m getting good odds.

In a multiway situation I think that you can call very liberally in the BB. Anything but garbage. With the extra player(s), you are not only getting better pot odds but also better implied odds.

Unless I know something of utg's normal play I am likely to check fold the turn. As you didn't mention how utg plays I am guessing you don't know yet. You are gambling here - heads up at a full table. What is the rush?
