Best time to play higher steps on stars?

Hey guys, I just won my step 4. I'm getting very nervous, I'm a low stake player, the biggest tournaments I've ever played is the sunday million (2-3 times when I won entry in a satellite).

So I was wondering if there was a better time (days, hours) to play the step 5 (and hopefully step 6)? Is there a time when there is more bad players?

Might be a stupid question, feel free to ignore if it is.

Are they steps to the pca? Cause then the best time would be as close to the PCA as possible.
