NL600: Turnraise in pos any good?
I have almost no history with villain. He looks a bit tight and probably also a little bit too passive. But this is like the first real hand vs him as far as I know.
Preflop is a 3bet sometimes, but I just wanted to play a pot in position vs him. Flop call is ok? What about the turn raise? And the amount? I feel I should have made it a little bit bigger. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Hero [ 9d 9s ] Villain raises [$24]. folds. Hero calls [$24]. folds. folds. ** Dealing Flop ** [ 7c, Th, 6h ] Villain bets [$47]. Hero calls [$47]. ** Dealing Turn ** [ Tc ] Villain bets [$88]. Hero raises [$218]. |

Pre: re-raise 90% of the time
Flop: Cool Turn: I'd just call |

Re: NL600: Turnraise in pos any good?
Let me add this: When he raises PFR UTG his range is pretty tight. So I shouldn't be 3betting this 90% of the time. I should vs somebody who steals a lot, but that's not this guy. I forgot to add.
Also keep in mind he's a bit passive. |

Re: NL600: Turnraise in pos any good?
I guess your thought process is that once he barrels the turn your nines are no longer good; so its better to turn the hand into a (semi-, with six likely outs in the event that he does call) bluff ? I don't really like it especially given the reads unless you think he is weak-tight as well as passive.
