I would say its very slightly -Ev to call there (sometimes he can do it with at/aj/smaller pair) but i would do it to get info, plus for image reasons.

I would never call here. ever.

Against a TAG, there isn't a single hand that we beat that is logical. Only if he is just getting stupid and is playing well below his A game would it be possible to win.

I'm not doing the math, but I don't think it can get above 15 BBs the way you played it.

To me, even tempted with a 30 BB pot, I don't see how we win here.

I would rather give up this pot the 1% he tries this move than the 99% he's not drunk/crazy/trying something out.

this poll isn't really phrased well since pots don't magically get to be that size without more action, but I would say you're good like 2-5% of the time so yeah.

Fold it only online vs the super-passive fish that slowplay sets till the river then check-raise.

This is a very good question and an interesting spread of answers. 'average TAG' at 30/60+ is often able to make moves on the river, so the pot size should be relevant. However, it also depends on how often he thinks you will fold to a river raise. He could have been sucking you along with 88/99 and knows you don't have JT or 65 or any other decent draw - and only loses to AA. I voted 8BB but this would change depending on the actual game situation so the standard 'it depends' caveat applies.

On a rainbow board against an early PFR? I don't see the average TAG making a move on the river, or perhaps I'm not seeing it enough, not enough to be shown a winning hand by them. (Or maybe because I fold, I think correctly)

My opininion is that you should fold here with TP somewhere around 1 time out of 10 in current high games. Most of the times you should call. Average TAG is able to make notes and therefore you should avoid any folds in big pots (8BB+)facing much-hands-with - regulars when you have something more than missed non A-high draw.
