Default KJs utg short stacked

Blinds 600/1200 antes 150

My stack is 10.2k 42 people left of 710ish

Is it a good idea to shove KJs 8 handed or wait for a better spot? Most hands that call me probably has me as a 3:5 dog.

This is a tough spot. I'd rather be shoving 89 from LP than KJ from UTG

Yeah, I agree here, maybe not that light, but there are definitely better spots. I think waiting and having you go through the blinds and then just pushing ATC on the button AND CO (so you profit the same as KJs push and everyone folds) would be a better option.

I know you don't have much behind, but pushing KJ UTG 8 handed is a little too light. I would rather be pushing with position since you get some info on the action in front of you. I fold here and hope to pick something up soon.

Fold here and shove later with 2 live cards.

like ppl said before stack sizes are important, but i think also to take consideration is who u r stealing from... if the BB and SB are conservative and not short stacked, i'd say shove with KJ utg... why? because i think the best places to steal when the blinds are high are UTG and BTN.

I may be wrong here, but i think the real question u gotta ask yourself is what are your chances of getting called?

UTG i'd fold this.

If you get called you have a high chance of being dominated and you have 5tBB left, so you can afford to let the blinds pass you one more time and still have some FE if you push from LP.

if the table was very tight i'd push though.
