at least the ann arbor news is doing its part in letting the general public know that this would be a huge mistake.

There is a post on mgoblog about a flight that just came in from Cedar Rapids. The comments are hilarious.

For those who are too lazy to search it out:

"A Dassault Falcon 20 left Willow Run at 6 EST and arrived in Cedar Rapids a little more than an hour later. After about 15 minutes it left, returning to Willow Run. The return leg is scheduled to touch down in approximately 30 minutes."

I hope he has better luck than Buddy Holly did flying out of Iowa in a small plane.

http://michigan.rivals.com/

According to Rivals, Ferentz is no longer an option for the Wolverines and will not be the next coach. I'm not a subscriber to Rivals, but the article was reposted in various places and you can get th gist of it by checking out the various Michigan fan sites/blogs.

So big sigh of relief here if it's true he's no longer a candidate. Teh intraweb and its many tubes are bad for my health.

"Michigan- Our sources say that Brian Kelly will be named HC if the interview doesn't turn off the Woman President"

lol, the kicker about the interviewing makes it sound like this is almost a joke. Hopefully the Ferentz scare is behind us and we can start talking about real candidates like Brian Kelly.
