Default Hi folks

Hi guys, hows it going, been lurking for a couple of months around 2p2, finally decided to post. I've been playing online casually for a couple of years, pretty much entirely MTTs and SNGs, getting more and more hooked

The start of this month I decided to give cash games a go, so I deposited $50 in a new site, finally bought Poker Tracker and jumped into NL20. (I'm not too fussed about a few reloads if it comes to it). So far I've been lucky and I'm up about $100, and learning from you guys I can hopefully do even better and maybe move up a couple of levels.

Anyway just wanted to share a couple of hands with you and get your thoughts...

(BTW can you convert HHs from PT for this site as its saying not a recognized format when I try?)

First one, not sure if is this a horrible donkey move or not, please advise.

Villian here has stats of 21.25/ 6.55/ 1.46 over 3.5k hands if thats any help.

** Comet [Hold 'em] (0.10|0.20 No Limit - Cash Game) Real Money

giraffeboy77 went all-in - $19.88

I figured that a smaller raise, say $10 would commit me on the turn anyway if called, and by raising I could take it now.

Second hand was around 20 mins after the first hand, on my second table. Villain has 32.97/ 3.2/ 0.41 in 600 hands.

Hand 1 is standard, mega draw like this you get it all in and be happy.

Hand 2, please for the love of god bet that flop. There are a load of draws out there which you have given a free card too. This is not a good flop to slowplay on!
As played, a fold looks good on the river, overbets like this usually mean the nuts.

I don't know of any converter that works for Comet...never even heard of Comet actually. I'd look for one though if you're gonna play there. It'd really help as far as getting feedback here is concerned.

Now yea hand 1 looks good. Standard.

Hand 2: You should be betting most flops after you raise pre-flop (like 99.99% of them when it's headsup, less 3way, etc.). So just bet the flop here and build a pot. It's normal cause you always do it. Yea fold on the river is good I guess....that's a massive overbet on the flush card and he did check flop and check call turn. Really gotta bet the flop here.

hand 1 is fine.

2 is pretty bad. That's like the best flop ever for you (not just b/c of top set but b/c of soooo many worse hands that call). Most aces don't ever fold, and there are tons of SDs and FDs that will peel. Really really gotta bet. build a pot

Cheers for the feedback guys, I took a lot of heat from a couple of guys for the first hand after I hit an A on the turn and stacked him, things like "that was a dumb late tourney move" etc. and wondered if that was really the case.

The second one yeah I was slowplaying and felt like throwing up on the river lol. Lesson to be learned I think.

Thanks again.

Edit - BTW Comet is just the table name, Ladbrokes is the site I play on.

Please dont slow play. Hand 2 you need to bet the flop there while there are a ton of hands that will call.

Hand 1 I like to 3bet a pot sized raise rather than push. Push looks exactly like what you have. 3betting is the same result, but may have some fold equity. I mean if you had a set here you wouldnt just push. IMO

Im pretty sure our Equity in this hand is massive vs his range, so If he knows what we have he will make a mistake byt calling with alot of his hands, and it's a mistake he will make alot more than say calling w KK on a T42 rainbow when we have TT.
