Default Poker tracker and flop stats

When I filter on "action on flop" and check the boxes "bet or raised" the flop I am up 1.5 BB/hand, when I go back and check just "called" I am down .8 BB/hand, what kind of results do you guys see? Does this really mean if I am not going to bet or raise the flop I should check or muck it?

Probably, yes. Some of this is also because you're not aggressive enough on the flop. This doesn't mean start going hog-wild on the flop, but maybe you need to induce more folds. Check/calling isn't going to accomplish this, hence, it's generally a poor overall strategy.

It probably means your sample size is too small, that tends to be the case with most PT questions.

It also is probably indicitive of the fact that you bet your strong hands and call with your draws. Which is what you are supposed to do most of the time.

So when you guys look at PT do you see calling the flop as + or - EV?

Why would we call if it wasn't?

It sure is tough to get an answer here but let me try again, is there a winning player, on the forum, who is willing to tell me what kind of $/BB he earns when he sets PT to "called the flop"? or is this kind of information "classified"?

I think people are more than willing to post their PT stats upon request if they understand what you are looking for.

The checkboxes I see in the PT filters are for flop action after raising pf. Is this what you are referring to?

My sample size is so low as to be meaningless, but FWIW:
bet+raised = +.67BB/HH; called = +1.13 BB/HH
