Re: AKo on the button
Seems well played. Can't protect the flop but raise for value with your good pair. Bet turn when brick comes. If he is a maniac then the only thing I would say is close is the river-raise. He can have a two but probably not.
I would probably have done the same thing. |

Re: AKo on the button
I'm confused about preflop with both UTG and CO raising. Is the cap 5 bets on WSEX? Assuming you 3-bet AK and called a cap from a maniac, it's fine.
If the guy is a maniac postflop as well, I like everything. When he donks the river, I can't imagine he made trip 2's from the PF cap, so I'd raise as well thinking my kings up is good. If he's that agro, he'd often raise earlier with KQ or a set. |

Re: AKo on the button
since SB has AA you should probably just call the flop and fold on the turn ... oh yeah - don't post results!!!
any-whoo I would still give SB a little respect for a cold cap oop - really depends on how much of a tard you've seen him be in a big pot ... cold capping and leading out into that many opponents generally means he has more than two random card flop raise is still debatable on that flop - IMO it depends on the rest of the crew ... lol (oops just noticed that buddy is all in) - so yeah, raise is pretty standard as is the turn bet ... I probably just call the river. I really don't see much else that would play this way, that you more than tie with |
