I have about $1200 -- whittled down from $2000 or so. My image is really aggressive and probably maniacal/bad because I keep getting like JJ/AK/AQ and putting tons of money in and always flopping terrible and not getting to showdown.

I'm in the SB w/ AK. Button open limps, I make it $50, BB insta calls, button insta calls.

Read on BB: Loose/bad player, plays a ton of hands and doesn't play them well, also seems passive and not likely to run big bluffs, covers my stack

I bet $220 he calls -- basic hand reading would told you his most likely hands by far are like AQ/AJ/AT or a flush draw/combo draw

I think checking would be pretty bad here. A live donk is going to take a showdown with all his one pair type hands on a board this scary, but he'll probably pay off a bet with them given your reckless image.

shoving is pretty standard at least for me here - especially live when you can say "allin" and since no one has any idea what the pot is they are like "uhhhhhhhhhh trips i call"

Shove, it maximises the profit against tons of possible boats, and live donks might even "call for a chop" with a straight.

pretty hard to come up with many hands that will bet the river when we check which won't raise or call when we bet, given that OP's read is that he's passive and unlikely to run a big bluff

I would have bet a little more on the flop to setup a little bigger turn bet to then setup a bigger river bet, but oh well
