Default 12 tabling and monitor setups

Currently I'm 8 tabling on two 20" monitors no resizing.
I'm trying to increase the number of tables, so I played for an hour 10 tabling on smaller tables.
My eyes got tired much sooner.

My options seems to be:
- buy another 20" monitor
drawbacks: too much neck movement, have to buy another video card too
- replace one with a 30"
drawbacks: cost
-cascade tables tried it in the past and didn't like it but might give it another shot

What do you suggest?

What kind of monitor setup do you use?

No real suggestions here just yet, but I'm pumped you posted this.

I JUST RECEIVED MY NEW DELL 24" 2407WFP (1920x1200) AND DELL XPS 410 CPU. The CPU has dual DVI outputs and a TV Tuner, so I think I will 12 table and watch SportsCenter...in HD.

Unfortunately, the other 24" won't be here till Monday.

I'll post pics and opinions when I set it all up late tonight.

i play 12 tables on one laptop monitor, i just have 4 in the corners, 4 on the edges in between the corners, and 4 more staggered in the middle of the screen. theres plenty of overlap, but after a while you really dont get bothered by it, and theres less mouse movements since the tables are closer together. i think one monitor is always the way to go, i would never consider three

I play on a laptop using the tile tables button on stars, 3 rows of 4 tables.

A couple years ago I bought two 23" Samsung monitors. I hooked those two up and I also had a 17" CRT set up on it. I kept PT, AIM and so forth on the 17" and would run however many I wanted on the other two big ones. I also had set up an xbox controller so I could just lean back and play away. with limit, it was just easy to program buttons to be pressed. I've not worked it out with NL. I"ll have to look into that because it was the nuts.

Perhaps you should chill out on the 12 tabling while you aren't sure you beat the game (you mentioned you were on a big downswing in another thread). No offense intended.

my 22" are both acers...they go for around $320 brand new at bestbuy...i know acer is the most popular brand but they are pretty solid...also renton, i bought them a while back b4 my downswing, and since my downswing i have dropped to 8 tables max now...but i think my downswing may be over now, i booked a couple decent wins the past few days...but i will continue to just 8 table until i feel comfortable enough to go back to 12...btw no offense taken, i appreciate the advice...
