This is actually right he just phrased it poorly. It might be -EV to call this river everytime, but due to gameflow, timing tells, etc. in this specific spot it could be +EV.

You are right in saying he phrased it wrong, b/c gameflow, timing tells, etc. go into whether or not this is a +EV call in the long run. You are probably right in what he meant to say, I just found it funny because typical P5s logic is "but it doesnt matter what he USUALLY has, it only matters what HE HAD THIS TIME."
