omg. This is so ignorant of banking rules I don't know where to begin....

If you're doing $9999, and doing it often, you're in deep [censored].

Just be reasonable about it man, they take a 1k or so wack when 50k is deposited via neteller, why not just play enough to let them recoup this?

this is called "structuring" and results in jail time.

I would STRONGLY recomend NOT doing this.

First, I'm guessing you're maybe 18 at best, and probably not a winning poker player based on your apparent intelligence level. So, I doubt very much that you've actually done what you are suggesting.

Second, if you made even one transaction of $9999, rest assured it's been reported (google: "Structuring"). If three banks have reported you for structuring, then I repeat -- you're in deep [censored].

The approved method is 9,998 then 9,997 then 9,996 my buddy tells me.

He also wants me to pass along that federal time is much softer than serving time in the county or state pens.

Best wishes.

Try cashing out a smaller amount (below what you had before the peer to peer transfers, and below $10,000). Then play some, and cash out some again--again a reasonable amount.

PokerStars does not want to be a bank or intermediary between transfers of players. If PokerStars allowed this to go unchecked, a lot more money laundering would be occuring.

Their policy is true for all of us.

Your buddy is correct. The fed joints are much softer -- with far fewer ass-poundings than state.

I felt I was being pretty reasonable by leaving a 10k+ in there and expressly telling them that I was going to play. The fact that I got basically a "no problem, thanks for playing at Stars" type response and then later had my cashout denied is irritating.

Especially since I have generated them thousands and thousands in rake being a regular player there for 4+ years.

How soon does Pstars answer the email?

I made a cashout around 2k to my epass account 3 days ago after doing neteller_p2p->pstars. I have not received the money yet. I sent them an email 7 hours ago and have not received any answer yet...

I hope Pstars would not take advantage of the current Neteller situation and rip off its loyal players.
