I know about six women who are strippers in clubs, with most of them being students trying to meet college expenses. Let me just mention, since the subject came up, that when they dance, tease, smile and flirt, it is prety much one big act. To know what's REALLY going on in their minds would be totally emasculating -- you don't wanna know! But most guys don't care, cuz they aren't there to see what's in the women's heads. And the gals are just after the moola, so it balances out [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

"[censored], I left the club in a near rage the night after NYE, it sucked so bad. Didn't matter I had kicked ass with the senior owner there all night the night before, and most of our girls out partying instead of working.

The next night sucked, and I let it get to me. Not nearly enough dancers (most of them were hung over lol), worse than NYE by far. Half the ones that were there wanted to hear the same whiny, cheesy top 40 R&B schlock, which brings the inspiration level way down.

If we existed and performed in a socio/economic vacuum, our performance and confidence levels might remain stable, but unfortunately we depend on crowds of customers--and their cash--to feel good about a night's work. I also depend on having dancers I can feel good about putting onstage, but it's still a similar phenomenon.

With 50 guys in the club, it's hard to feel like it's a special, magical night, lol...

From the description of your state of mind, it sounds like you need a vacation or a break from it all, if you can afford it. One thing's for sure, if you take a few weeks off to snap out of a rut, and then come back renewed and envigorated, you'll wind up making more overall, even with the time off factored in.

Some new music might help, if you can't afford to take the time off. Have you ever tried dancing to 'angry girl' type music, lol? I have noticed this will sometimes help dancers that are stuck in a funk.
