IMO Villain is as likely to call a shove as a value bet.

Shove seems pretty sexy here.
Dunno why you'd check, if this guy doesn't bluff much. |

Re: 5/10 live venetian -- check or bet river
I'd either bet 3/4 pot or shove. If you think that he is likely to call a medium sized bet on the river with just an ace or a weak K but fold to a shove then a normal bet might be better. But if he is calling a shove with a straight as well as occasionally Ax or trips then I like shoving. A shove does look bluffy though I think to most villains who have you pegged as very aggressive, so that could be better than a normal vb.
I don't like a c/r ai because I think Kx and Ax both are checking the river almost always, and I wouldn't be very surprised if villain checked back a straight. You said he seems passive so overall he isn't going to value bet or bluff enough to make checking > betting, IMO. |

Re: 5/10 live venetian -- check or bet river
I think you guys are right given the player profile the amount of times he chooses to a bluff a total whiffed hand do not outweigh the value I get from any pair.
I went ahead and shoved all in -- but I think betting like $450 could possibly be better. He turbo folded. |
