This is a very good point, but we at least would have gotten a pot sized bet out of one or both villains before they fold to a turn bet.

I think this could probably be quantified EV wise, if we came up with some reasonable assumptions about calling percentages. A pot sized bet could easily be called on this draw heavy board, so I think a high percentage of the time we get at least 1 caller, maybe even 2. A shove, will probably only be called a smaller percentage of the time, but there is a nice amount of dead money in the pot. Seems kind of close without actually doing the EV calcs.
