I heard he was trying to get back into the game but his coaches would not allow it. Though I haven't heard anything else and I'm an interested party b/c he's on one of my teams as well.

I have a QB dilemma. 12 team league, and we have to start 2 QBs, so obviously this week is a clusterfu*k. Without going into the details of my situation, one of my options is Manning + Des. Clark (he's expendable for me, but is better than both the other guys' current TEs) for Brady.

Basically, does anybody think Brady continues to outperform Manning going forward?

I just offered a guy Steve Smith, Lawrence Maroney, and Reggie Bush for Ladanian Tomlinson and Jason Witten.

Any way he accepts that? Who is getting the best of that?

Obviously my RBs suck, (i have bush, marshawn lynch, foster, maroney) and no TEs (vernon davis / d lee )

I think I'm ripping him off but not sure. He also has Cooley for what it's worth and Ronnie Brown

Holt/Rudi/H.Miller for LJ/T.Jones/Greg Olsen/Roddy White

Is this a good trade for me? Will the Holt owner be willing to consider this.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's okay, but considering Rudi's status, and Bulger's ribs, you could probably keep White and still pull off the deal.

And I wouldn't trade for Holt until it becomes more clear when Bulger is coming back (I know he had a decent game with Frerotte, but it was home vs ARI).

I have LJ and looking to trade him. I was offerred Holt/Miller for LJ/Greg Olsen. I am looking to upgrade my WR and TE.

[/ QUOTE ]

Griese looks like he likes Olsen a lot, so I wouldn't consider Miller a huge upgrade at this point.

I understand wanting to bail on LJ while he still has some name value, but I'd wait to see what he does vs. CIN (huge potential for a breakout game) before pulling the trigger on a marginal upgrade like that.

NE has possibly the best playoff schedule of any team.
Week 15 vs. NYJ
Week 16 vs. Miami

2 home games, 2 weak teams. Hopefully they don't lock up homefield early and go on cruise control.

Indy's schedule is slightly tougher, but not bad at all.
Week 15 @ OAK
Week 16 vs. HOU

I like Brady more come playoff time, plus the way he's playing, I think he's FF MVP material. If you don't need Clark, I think Brady is a slight upgrade over Manning.

Anybody spot anyone else with easy week 15/16? Anybody with tough games?

This was my focus as well. There's not a big difference either way. Manning has a slightly softer weeks 5-14 schedule, and Brady has slightly better playoff matchups.

I doubt the guy will do the trade anyway, he's in love with Brady. I'm probably going to have to bid my whole free agent balance on Cleo [censored] Lemon.

In my league exactly 0 people would accept that. Smith is now less then a #2 receiver given his QB situation. Maroney may never get a TD (and who knows how long his groin will hold up). Bush is good. And in return you're asking for 2 studs. No way he takes it.

I've been looking ahead for awhile, and trying to adjust my roster in that respect. After week 2, Buffalo looked tremendous (CLE & NYG, who had each given up 80 points over the first two weeks) but the Giants look better on D now, and the Bills are a mess.

Philly has 2 road games, but they both should be high-scoring (DAL & NO).

Most teams seem to have a pretty balanced split (one tough, one easy, or 2 mediocre matchups). And as we know, things can change.
