He raises UTG then cold calls a re-raise and check min-raises you on the flop. I don't see any fold equity whatsoever and you could be drawing only to your diamonds, why shove when you're getting the correct odds to see a turn card?

He raises UTG

He's 38/19. So this means he has 2 cards, basically. They might be suited though.

and check min-raises you on the flop.

Again, an AF of 8 means that this guy basically never check-CALLS.

This guy could easily have JJ, or KJ/KQ, or 99. We are very rarely drawing to ONLY 9 outs. The Ace is often good. Sometimes the Q is too. Sometimes we are a 2:1 favorite.

But we are NEVER less than ~ 3:1

Easy call I think...not only is your FE low, but it's very likely you're drawing to 9 outs

[/ QUOTE ]

So you've narrowed down his hand to AK, 66, 55, 65, and KK?

WTF?

[/ QUOTE ]

AA, KK, AK, QQ-55. You're probably adding 78 and diamonds in there, but I really don't think it's correct. I don't think he's minraising with those hands.

I suppose thats villain's complete range, but imo it's heavily weighted towards hands that dominate us. Again, I don't think we have FE here, we're pushing into a situation where we are 50/50 at best, 25/75 at worst. It just doesn't make sense to me when calling gives great odds

if you think its weighted towards the hands that dominate (AA, KK, AK) then why do we have great calling odds?

$33 into a pot of about $86 isnt that about 3-1 but were 4-1 to hit our flush?
since we would only have diamonds if were dominated or behind at the moment.

please explain

prob shove, or maybe not quite a shove (focing him to shove over me for his last $30 or whatver) because I think shoving here advertises our hand as what it is, and a smaller raise looks like we're trying to keep him in, thus perhaps giving us more fold equity? if that makes no sense then drugs are bad.

cc is terrible I think. We are sure to face a huge bet on the turn and we fold the best hand a lot. Besides, he probably min-raised to "see where he's at" with something gay like TT.

Shove.

The pot is not $86. We're getting like 5-1
