Default 50 NL, TPGK not cbetting goes sour

Villain is 13/8/2.

Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $133.25
BB: $49.25
UTG: $45.70
Hero (CO): $62.60
BTN: $65.10

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q (5 Players)
UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $3.50, BTN folds, SB calls $3.25, 2 folds

Flop: ($8) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($8) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $7.50, Hero calls $7.50

River: ($23) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $17.00, Hero ?

Please don't focus on preflop. I checked the flop to get value from stuff like TT, 99 later. But got scared of him, being pretty tight pf betting the turn _and_ the river. Thoughts?

Slap yourself and fold. Against this nitty guy i doubt you're good often enough.

I think checking this flop with TP is very bad if villain is paying any attention cause that's typically the kind of flop that you want to take down with a cbet when you both miss.

what hand range are we putting villain on that has us beat. He still called a raise PF with his stats you think he has a straight here? I can talk myself into calling or folding lol

Sets and aq is def part of his range... What is his af? As played I think u have to fold, please c-bet these hands... Top pair isn't the nuts and if u have c-bet lots of flops why not do it with a legitimate hand? And btw most players will call on the flop with TT/99....

I will sometimes check behind after hitting like this. It's a viable move to have in your arsenal to mix things up. You just picked the wrong type of player to do it against. You'd rather do this against an aggressive player.

This guy is pretty nitty. His most likely hand is a small pp. Which is a good reason to c-bet 99% of the time against him, because he will fold a lot.

Unfortunately here the board is full of small cards. I don't see him doing this with 88-JJ. It's either a huge hand or air. With his stats I'd lean towards a fold.
