You didn't bet enough since you had to have the best hand at the moment, except for AA.

It's not like an unknown would have a 5-3 and six bet with rags like that pre flop.

However, I would chop with KK six handed so everybody at the table would like me; I wouldn't want other players at a short handed table to think I am a dick or anything.

[/ QUOTE ]

Did I talk to you about this hand?

He did in fact have 53o.

[/ QUOTE ]

Of course you talked to me about this hand. It's one of those dumb things that happen in life. Get over it.

Just take away the lesson that KK is never worth a seven bet, even though it is likely to be a very heavily weighted favorite pre flop. Any unknown is likely to to hold a pair of aces or ace-king to go to seven bets. How could any top player suspect that an idiot/moron like that is holding 5-3 and go to seven bets pre-flop? It must have been a full moon or the donkey was drinking mightily.

Take your aggression down a notch or two, your game will be much more profitable. A minor adjustment like this to your otherwise top notch game will get you to the next level.

The "can i raise it again" comment at the Borgata is usually a good indicator that they have absolutely nothing.

I think you may have put in too much action on the flop. However, I don't think it's nearly as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I'm not sure how many of you guys play at the Borgata, but people who are heads up in the blinds expecting to chop get very aggravated when a chop doesn't take place. More so than many other casinos. I suspect that he woulda spewed a ton of chips to you here if he didn't flop huge, and I think his 3 bet preflop certainly shows that.

Why is it retarded? OP has a good action image and will get a ton of action from retards holding 77-QQ. If i have to save 2sb somewhere i'd do it on the flop but i think turn needs to be betted.

1inch: Didn't you get banned for life? Or was that just another screaming cry for attention?

To others who added their input: Thanks as always. After thinking about it you're all right, I should've saved two-four sbs here. Probably by calling his flop 4 bet and calling down. Sure I might cost myself a tiny bit of value but It saves me from the mess that I got myself in. As always, thanks.

I should've added in my op that villian was foreign most likely Greek. Not sure if that means anything. But for the Borg regulars it certainly does.

It was a lifetime ban, which was reduced to a seven day ban.I don't need a lifetime ban from two plus two to make a screaming bid for attention. I victimized the cats at 5:05 AM this morning to get some attention. I don't know why 2+2 had pity on me, since I will continue to be a sarcastic bastard to all of you.

By the way, IF THE VILLAIN was the ethnicity you describe, then seven betting was incorrect. You should have made it ten or eleven bets, to receive the correct value.

You made a brilliant move with poor results, that's how it goes in mid limit at the Borg. Just ask me about this past weekend at the Taj, when I sat down in the 20/40 and picked up AA in the big blind first hand against some person of indeterminate ethnicity, for whom English was not his first language and in turn proceeded to make it five bets. After dropping about five hundred on that hand, when he hit his set of sevens on the river, I went on to get KK, AKs, QQ and lose $1500 in an hour, before I had to rack my remaining whites for Jitney fare back to my apartment and my car, to get to the BOA ATM machine, to return and find more players who suck. At least I got $400 of that back by the end of the day in the 10/20 at the Borg.

By the way, here is the email notifying me of my life sentence:

Notification from the The 2+2 Forums "The 2+2Forums" to you - Aug 10More Details

You have been banned at the The 2+2 Forums.
Reason: Lifetime ban for racist personal attack.
Ban duration: User is banned permanently.

Josh, this is a "whatever" type hand. Meaning that in this case you are thinking you shoulda lost less, whereas if he had like 66-QQ(which I think is a very reasonable range for him considering the immature self destructive reactions I see many of the players at the Borgata have when they discover that the player to their right does not chop) you would be kicking yourself for not getting more.

Pretty much. .Thanks for ensuring that I'm overthinking (as often happens) More than anything I'm on lunch at work and was just involved in my own thoughts.
