Re: Easiest bone to break??
The biggest problem with the collar bone is that once you have broken it once, you can be very prone to breaking it again along the original fracture. Other bones don't seem as bad for re-breaking them as the collarbone. (and the nose, of course, but I was thinking about larger bones).

[ QUOTE ] Tail bone! Just trick him to turn around and then give him the knee... [/ QUOTE ] I've broken a lot of bones (nose, fingers, arm, ribs, leg, ankle, foot) and I don't know which is the easiest to break, but the tailbone hurt the most by far. [/ QUOTE ] also that never heals (or so I heard). |

Re: Easiest bone to break??
Ive broken my left collarbone twice and it hurts EXTREMELY much if you somehow move your upper arm where it is broken fast.
They also just give you a armsling at the doctors and say "its gonna heal itself, nothing more we can do!!" so you are stuck with it unprotected for 2-4 weeks or more if its a bad break. |

Re: Easiest bone to break??
It's pretty easy to break someone's arm if you can get a grip on it.

Re: Easiest bone to break??
Nobody has mentioned ELBOW yet.
The only thing I remember from the hand-to-hand combat training I got in the army is that it it only takes a tiny bit of pressure to snap an elbow. Imagine someone throws a right at your head. You grab his wrist with your right hand. His arm is now straight out in front of him. With your left hand, you apply a little pressure to that elbow, and it's SnapCracklePop time. So they say--I have no personal experience in this regard. |

Wouldn't that be more of a luxation and tearing of ligaments and cartilage than an actual fracture? Imagine someone throws a right at your head. You grab his wrist with your right hand.
