Re: The OJ Mayo incident
That's pathetic. If you watch the ref, he does stop staring at Mayo the whole time. Even when he walks off by himself, the ref is just watching him waiting for some reason to give him the second T. The fall is just pathetic. Not sure what kind of grudge the ref had but he should definitely not be allowed to officiate any more games.

Re: The OJ Mayo incident
I just watched wrestling for the first time in ages tonight and this was far worse. What a joke. Perfect example of some ref thinking he's bigger than the game, the type of [censored] that ruins otherwise good sporting events all the time these days.
Btw kudos to the excellent work done by the refs in the superbowl. |

Re: The OJ Mayo incident
Can anybody tell what the first T was for? Is dunking illegal at that level?
As for the ref's flop, how can anybody suggest that the ref fell intentionally, when you can't see his lower body? He could've tripped over his own feet, got his feet tangled up with the kid's, or slipped on a wet spot on the floor. Anything is possible, and I think the least likely possibility is that he hit the floor intentionally. |
