What a great day of racing. Some final thoughts:

* I was very surprised at how formful the results were. It's pretty clear the best horse won almost every race. The track conditions didn't skew the results. There was no overwhelming track bias, which was nice to see.

* Nice to see Bob Baffert is back. He had 2 absolute monsters win Saturday. Midnight Lute's closing move was just awesome.

* Garret Gomez. 2 BC wins, and 2 more on the early stakes races. Not bad.

* Excellent calls by Trever Denman all day long. Last year he had a rough day with lots of mistakes. This year he was accurate and added to the drama. His trademark is to call which horses are struggling and which ones are full of run. He did that very well in most of the races.

Nice job to everyone that posted winners on here. Congrats!
