blinds 200/400/25. i've got about 3k, probably about 34 people left and 26 seats paid. I'm the small stack at the table. raise to 1200. one caller, and a re-raiser puts me all in.

call, you are too short to get a seat without improving and this might be your best chance to do so.
btw - why haven't you shoved that preflop with M=4?

Or you raise and get two or three callers and you lose ALL the +EV you had as a result. Blinds are fine, and you play your hand face up if you jam hand after hand then change to price people in.
