Yay no more Jman after this week. What a douche. Love all the fanboys here defending his mistakes but picking on every little thing jamie gold does. Someone even mentioned how they were annoyed when jamie asked daniel what he was eating last week.

I know jman is a poker god but why sit there all quiet with this huge ego like you're too good to open your mouth and chat a little with all these live donks? It's refreshing to see some players can have fun and talk while gambling for high stakes. Hell even brandon adams was more entertaining.

That was me who made fun of Jamie Gold asking Daniel what he was eating, which was hilarious.

:Gold: Hey Daniel, is that greasy?
(Daniel ignores him)
:Gold: Uh oh, can't let someone ignore me.
:Gold: HEY DANIEL, IS THAT GREASY?!? I ASK YOU AGAIN BECAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT AND NOT BECAUSE I AM EMBARASSED THAT YOU IGNORED ME!!1! SO FOR REALZ, IS THAT GREASY? WHAT'S THE 4-1-1, DOG?

I'm an equal opportunity hater... Gold is a bit of a wanker and Jman looked like a goof when he mucked at showdown. It is possible to laugh at both things, you know.

So true he raised preflop if he fires out evryone folds. Gold or Helmuuth mucks a chop and there idiots. Waste of time having the Nit on the show along with Brandon Adams. Rather see gamblers. Sammy is very entertaining. No way Phil G or Brandon are back.

if you want to see gamblers, why don't you go to any casino in the world, you can see nutters gambling on all kinds of things. you could watch roulette, for example.

i would rather see skilled poker players personally

so what you're saying is that you don't like jmans play on high stakes either.

raises with qq... checks when he sees the dreaded king and diamond board. folds when an opponent bets 70% of the pot.

woo... skill.

you'd have been really impressed if the board had come 842 rainbow and he bet the pot ... and his opps fold. that would be wonderful.

gamblers employ much more skill than nits.

Results oriented much? If one of the other two had had a king or whatever, you'd probably be posting about what a great read Jman made.

Jman folded in a marginal situation, that's the only thing you can say about that hand. As it turned out it was the wrong move, but it could have been right. It wasn't mathematically guaranteed to lose like a bunch of the plays the others have made (Farha's pf call with K7 vs Hellmuth, Gold's raise and subsequent checkdown vs Farha with bottom pair with 3 players yet to act behind him, etc etc).

Newsflash Einstein, the marginal situations are the ones that separate winners from losers. Or more appropriately in this situation getting a seat on day 3 or not getting a seat by playing scared, nittish, absolutely silent and non-entertaining poker.

I hope that explains marginal situations for you

no you're comment is results based.

when the flop comes down.. yes it's not a guarantee that you have the best hand. but, you may just.

the check on the flop was totally ridiculous. how can you disagree.

you built a 22k pot... a bet of 15 to 20 k is appropriate here. if you're called.. the way jman played the turn is much more acceptable.

once he checked the turn and farha bet 16k on the turn... how can you fold to that. do you simply run away from your hand unless you're holding the nut hand. is that what you call poker? hell, if you can be successful playing so "clench your butt cheeks" tight. and never risk a chip then maybe i should join all of you.

so... as i said before... he should have bet the flop. when he didn't calling the turn is the best option.
