Re: Bali, Indonesia - Tips for my trip
How about poker in Bali? I'm going there in the end of September for the surf and also bringing my laptop. How is the Internet access over there? Any hotels with wifi good enough for playing poker? Any casino there or nearby?

I have been in Kuta for 3 days and have had considerable trouble finding a hotel with Wifi/ dsl connection that is under $100US. i have been sitting at cafes. some have the clear desks that you can plug into, so you are not terrible cramped. Rates range from .75us to 1.20us per hour. I am heading up north along the beach, so maybe I will luckbox and find something affordable with internet in the room. |

Scuba diving ftw.
I'm going to indonesia (manado) for 3 weeks of diving in September; can't wait. You could just sign up for a day of diving discovery; which should be enough to give you the bug. Have fun & be safe. |
