Ok so I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of flak for this but I decided against the breitling and went for a Panerai. It doesn't look nearly as ballin but I really liked how it looked on my wrist (same size but somehow didn't look as crazy) and from what I understand it holds its value much better. $3,875 + tax.

Better decision, Panerai's are the [censored].

However as far as holding the value, you should have probably looked into upgrading to the Luminor Marina with the date, it's pretty hard to get full value for that model w/out it.

In case your wondering, had to sell that exact same model about 3 wks ago, and had a very hard time moving it....ended up only clearing 2/3rds what I spent on it, and probably took to little for it, but had to get some cash.
