Fiksdal, you should really edit out the links to your ID since people can make all sorts of hoax accounts under your name.
its not about the information, but the format. many money related sites (gambling/transaction) specifically ask for a picture of an official document. what if you were making a new account to a certain site only to find out someone already made one under your name?

for whats its worth, i also think its very stupid to give out your whole name and date of birth on the internet (even on facebook).

i can see that if someone wants to steal your identity now he can SHOW SCAN OF THE DOCUMENT to prove he is you. It is not the same as just stealing your data from your homepage or w/e.
