Default 100 NL: JJ hand #2

Villain is 16/11/4/1659 hands. What is the best play pre-flop considering villains stats? Do we smooth call and hope to hit a Jack or do we 3-bet?

What do we do on this flop? Do we call a bet, raise a bet, lead out if checked to? What if he raises us, do we go all the way with our hand?

Villain seemse aggressive. i like your 3-bet preflop. i'd just check behind on the flop although i think u could get a call from a weaker pair. but i also think the villain will check-raise alot with AK and what not and i don't want to be put in that position.

raise a little bit more PF, meh, bvb, i think he would repop u with a big pair because ur 3bet was kinda small, but who knows...

we have position, what did he do?? do not check behind here, bet

why do u want to bet the flop? i think a smaller pocket pair will call. but they also might call a turn bet.

eerrr?? y would we give free cards, we want to get value from the weaker pairs and possibly from overcards...

Paul,

i generally agree w/ your posts, but checking behind on this flop seems bad.

i'm not so worried about giving free cards to underpairs. do u think villain is aggressive enough to check-raise with over-cards. his aggro stat is real high. i use this line alot.
