An Interesting Hand I Think

So I'm starting out here on 2+2, definitely still learning about the game, I play 5-5 live and 1/2 online, but it seems like lately ive been in a rutt, i'm either having +500-700 days or -500-700 days... I know that some of it can be attributed to my changing gears... Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, I have a habbit of calling a little too often on the flop or turn when i know i'm beat and have few outs to improve, but that's a whole different story.

I'm wondering if I played this hand properly, it was a little interesting in that, by the river, i really thought i was beat, infact, the only hand i thought I was beating/tying is my own, and that seemed less likely the the holdings I thought about, namely a set, or a backed into flush... My opponent is a calling station and loves to draw no matter what the odds... A few hands ago he chased me to the river for a flush calling PSB's the whole way and hit, I have a pretty solid image, generally when i multi table 1/2 i play TAG preflop, and more LAG post flop, but almost all of the hands i show down are quality, unless im calling when im beat, which as discussed before I have a bad habit of dong on the flop and turn....

bet the flop yourself, or if you c/r makes it to around 50. Bet 4/5 pot on the turn and shove river yourself.

betting this small is making it impossible to get it in wihtout having him shove and lets him draw cheaply.

well i wanted to get some money out of the flop, and i bet almost the pot on the turn... i bet 3/4 the pot on the river, I don't shove because i'd like AT to call me once in a while..

You bet half the pot on the turn. Flop sucks big time, you should be leading for more than $14 anyways, so that 'get money in the pot' line is weak.

Lead flop for 3/4 pot. Lead turn for 3/4 pot. Shove anything left on river.

Hmm you're right I didn't study it as close as I thought. I did bet half on the turn, i should have bet more... But I like the check raise on the flop, hoping someone will bite, although I coulda made it more expensive... And going all in on the river would have been easier with the amount of money I would have had left... I take your points

your check raise was something like 1/4 pot. i would have lead out for 20, you checkraised even less than that. spivey's line is money.

c/r on the flop is wayyyyyyyyy too small. I usually lead out on the flop for about $20, but when you c/r it please make it at least $35. Turn bet is way too small as well. If you would have bet more it would have led to an easier river decision (push the rest for value!)
