empty planes going from amsterdam are subsidized by the planes coming to amsterdam.

Please explain, anyone hav any good cheap info on how to get to amsterdam as cheap as possible. 800 a plane ticket seems expensive, esp. if you have to pay for multiple tickets. Whats the best cities to leave from?
