Actually I find it quite entertaining when they act up, thats why we watch. But I have to admit on Poker After Dark when they all blab at the same time it's very annoying, and there loud you can't even hear announcer speaking. On the other hand some of the dramatics and antics that come up naturally (due to a bad beat, etc.) is very entertaining. Remember these are true emotions on the spur of the moment.

I have said this before and I will say it again, Laak was the biggest soft spot at my table during the WSOP not to mention he didnt say a word with no cameras around, he is a total tv phony

[/ QUOTE ] As far as the players being too loud goes, blame it on the production crew. They are probably not indivualing mic'ing the players, which I think they do on ESPN for the final table. Plus they can lower the players when the announcer comes in. They can even have that happen automatically, that's audio101. Unfortunately audio is the redheaded stepchild in TV. |
