Ugh... river donk

This happened a couple weeks ago and I just wanted a sanity check:

Bellagio 15/30

I open AJo as either the CO or button and get called by one or both of the blinds. The flop is AQ9 monotone giving me the J-high one card flush draw with my top pair. Checked to me, I bet and get called by one player. The turn is a suited T completing my second nut flush. Checked to me, I bet and get called. The river is an offsuit low card and villain donks. Villain seems like an okay TAG so far. Nothing special about his aggression that I've seen, not super-loose, and nothing incredibly stupid.

Is this an auto-call despite all of the high flush cards being out?

I don't think he is looking to fold here.

Aaron, I think a call here is warranted as you are never getting paid off by a worst hand anyhow by this type of player.

Yeah, I wouldn't raise against all but the most retarded players. I think you are actually cooked here most of the time, but you are good often enough to call.

My first thought was raise, because if he has the K, it is pretty poorly played by him. But, as I thought about it, you won't get called by worse very often. And folding is obviously horrible.

So I think its a pretty easy value/crying call.

I call. Unless he's a total moron, he'll never pay off without the nuts, and if he has them, you're going to get 3-bet.

I think raising has 0 EV against all but the most loose/terrible opponents.

Easy call. Raising is horrible and more horrible than horrible could be. Folding is bad given the pot size, the value of our hand, and the lack of a serious read on the opponent.

I'd expect to see the K a lot here, since live players adore the c/c, c/c, bet line with the nuts. It's a crying call, but it's a clear call.
