Default That guy donks, then that guy donks, then the first guy donks again

I am going to wish I had a working converter for this.

Crypto $5/10. KK on the button.

UTG (40/10, mysteriously open raises and then check-folds a huge amount) opens.

MP (30/20 decentish) cold calls.

CO (30/20 terrible) calls.

I threebet on the button and it's four way to the flop.

Flop is 446r.

UTG checks, MP donks, CO calls, I raise, UTG folds and the other two call.

Turn is 8 putting a two-flush out.

MP checks, CO now donks, I raise and they call.

River T not completing flush.

MP donks, CO calls.

1) WTF is going on?
2) How was my flop and turn play?
3) Just call now, right? Folding at 17-1 or whatever it is seems foolish.

Guy.

Hi,

I like the hand, at first I didn't know where I stood. If I should have to guess, MP has a small pocket pair 22-TT , and Donked to look where he stood on the flop(and getting this checked through if you have AK or something is terrible. When he donks river he often has a set. I can't put CO on a hand. Maybe A8s or something?

My first instinct was to raise the river, since the board is so nice to you, but since MP is decent he has you beat often here with a set. I think you still have to call this donk.

Plz don't fold.

Miles, with a bad CO in there why wouldn't 75s 3bet turn? Same for 88.

My first/grunch instinct was to raise but thinking about it your hand is pretty face up and a decent player doesn't care... you got overlay from CO though. Meh maybe I still raise this is so weird you should always value bet here with an overpair imho when they both check so why would MP donk? CO will pbb coldcall 2 to get his pair to showdown (that's what those players do in my games anyway) so c/r clearly seems best river line with TT.

I raise.

he didn't 3bet the turn because he was afraid of losing Guy + he thought he might get Guy to raise a river donk (trapping the other player). i feel right.

Just call, you're up against trips/boat/straights enough that you get 3-balled a lot, and then you either wasted 1 bet to not see SD or have to fold getting a zillion to one.

They weren't suited.

And neither of them was a seven.

Or a five.

But apart from that, you're spot on.

Guy.

maybe i'm missing something, but I am raising this river. All we lose to is TT, no one has a 4, no one has a boat. No one has a flush.

I'm raising this river because I'm getting 2-1 and I think I'm winning.

Reads are important here. I have certainly have raised the river in similar spots for value in low limit games (but this was back when I played on Party and people were really bad). The whole hand doesn't make a lot of sense, you certainly can't fold, but I don't think you can get much value with a raise here *without a read to the contrary*. That's the case even though CO has A8 or 87 like always here (and calls when MP doesn't 3bet the river). So I'd call, see what MP has, and try to figure what distorted logic he was using when he played his hand. (Although if he shows something ridiculuous like QJs for the backdoor flush I will first snap my monitor in half.)
