raising flop should be so incredibly standard. if it's not, you probably aren't very good at poker at all. sorry/

I probably would have raised the flop, too. But I don't see the point of the "not good at poker" remark just because he didn't. If he raises the flop, and villian plays back at him, do we dump the Kings? I don't, so there is no "incredibly standard" reason to raise. His opponent is gladly throwing money into the pot right now, and it looks like a draw. So long as he is giving himself incorrect odds (and his flop bet is) there is no incredibly pressing reason to let him know before the turn.

As far as the "game theory" remarks, I think Tupac meant that its good thing to let opponents know that you will viciously defend big pots on "meh" boards. Otherwise, you can become a target for bluffs. If you are willingly to beleive that I have exactly 33 or I guess some sort of 4 in a raised pot, I would take more than my share of shots at you as well.

I raise anyone who donks into me on this board. If they actually have like A4 or 33 here, they get my stack, and then I put a note that they're capable of leading monsters and I tread more carefully in the future. But that's like 1 out of 50 players at stakes below NL400.
