Default Common Late Stage Situation

You have Ac 5c, you are MP1, you have 2M, seems like a simple push? Is it really?

background
240 runners in the live $550 tourney. 18 players left, the bubble has just been broken, and the tables have been converged. Blinds are 1500/3000 ante 500. You just got down from 45k to 10k and back up to 18k in an unsuccessful bubble abuse. The average stack is around 37k, however players are really liberal in calling me (KJ+ range).

So is pushing with A5s really automatic? With 6 people behind you, and 3 of the players having really liberal ranges, is it a EV+ push? Aren't you better waiting till players get eliminated, which was happenning every hand, and thus having less players to call your all ins?

Lets say you are in BB, and post a 3k blind, do you call off your remaining 15k with A5s, when MP1 pushes?

I am just trying to learn. This forum didn't used to be so snotty. I did push, because thats what we are supposed to do. However I know that I get called way too often by a better hand (has someone done math on 6 hands being better than A5?). Wouldn't it make sense for me to wait for a better hand than A5, if I know I am getting called.

In the end I would really like to know what my fold equity was assuming they call with all pairs, A8+. Would you push with any hand?

how can you wait for a better hand? You're M is 2, and you're about to be bb. I shove here with 96s...with an ace I get a boner and shove
