Default beat: just removed my AC for no reason

for those that don't know, apparently on the East Coast having air conditioning means having some huge hunk of metal hanging out of your window. the window closes part of the way and the empty space is filled up by the AC.

anyway, I can feel a draft by my window and hear outside noises well so I knew there was some leakage with the AC and it would have to be removed for winter. I figured sooner was better than later, so I popped out some screws and hauled the thing inside (almost dropping it out the window in the process). I then lifted up my shade for the first time since I moved in in August. apparently I have an upper window that was cracked open a couple of inches, which explains the draft and noise. also I don't think there's any easy way for me to reinstall the AC w/o risking dropping it out the window.

Try a friend, or if you don't have any of those, a homeless person.

Freezing overnight here in Jersey, had to turn up the heat. Burning hot in the day, running AC now. God damn electricity bill.

You want him to install a friend or drop a homeless person out of the window?
