FT $17k gtd. Final Table Push

Final Table. 8 left with me in 7th with 75k. Blinds 3k/6k with an ante. Folds to me in the SB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. BB has 135k. $400 for 8th, $4100 for first. Good, bad, ugly?

you got 13BB and Q3o is worse than a random hand - so i think this is read dependant.

against a tight opponent pushing should be +cEV, against a looser - specially a loose caller i don't like it.

with more than 10BB my pushing requirements from BB are a little tighter - Q8o+

I don't mind shoving. You're only getting called when he has a legit hand. And unless he has AA,KK, QQ, AQ, KQ you have some live cards.

Even if he know you are shoving ATC, he can't really call half his stack without a decent hand.

That said I'm a nit and give him a walk.

I am shoving the majority of time here, there is 11-12k in there, we can increase our stack by 20%. Assuming our table image is ok, I would need a read on the bb indicating he will look us up light, we can do plenty of damage to his stack. Your shove is fine.
