Re: Run Me Over
you do realize you are behind exactly 1 hand on the flop, right?
and that the odds of him having 77 are even lower than usual with you holding one. he obv has a FD here 99.9999% of the time |

Re: Run Me Over
I fold the flop, because it will be so hard to play if a club hits the turn.

Re: Run Me Over
[ QUOTE ]
Villain in this hand is MikeAndy. He's got TAGish numbers and is capable of making moves. I'm playing slightly looser, have 3 bet him light at a few tables, etc. Regarding flop: I hate being bet 3 bet here if I pop him and just felt more comfortable calling. We have more than 100 (EDIT)BBs deep and the lead threw me a little off. Final Pot: $105 [/ QUOTE ] I think it matters a lot on whether villain is actually a solid (and somewhat predictable) tag, or if he just has stats the kinda look like a tag, but is still a newbie in many ways who just tries to gamble it up at the tables and is not affraid to act on impuls. Tendencies to fastplay are also important. If villain can be counted on to 3-bet AQ preflop, then we have to raise this flop no question. If villain is more goofy/1-tabling/plays reasonable but overvalues a hand after 30 minutes and busts himself, then it's quite likely that he may try to push us off 'an ace' on the flop if we raise, with a flushdraw. Also: kuddos on the converted hand. |

Re: Run Me Over
You never seem to raise me on the flop. I had K-J of clubs and was instantly pushing on you. Blank turn I was going to check call.

Re: Run Me Over
Guys, I think FGators didn't raise the flop because he wanted villain to either bluff the turn or semi bluff the turn. He was unluckey that the third club hit. But I agree just raise the flop and hope the guy thinks his bare FD is the nuts and shoves.

Re: Run Me Over
I raise the flop, but I don't think calling is as horrible as everybody else. People do stupid [censored] with FDs oop so calling and raising a blank turn is ok, most FDs has ~40% equity on the flop anyway. I think he'll bet the turn with a fd very often. Btw many tags will call AQ preflop in the blinds, saying he won't have AQ is stupid.

Re: Run Me Over
Man you pretty much have the nuts on the flop vs a TAG. Raise flop and get it in, hes not donk/folding here all too often, and is way more likely to put in money with his combo draw now. than later.

Re: Run Me Over
fgators ill try to be nicer than these guys... It just seems surprising that after all the 200nl youve played you hate getting the money in on this flop. People take the bet/3bet line far more often with a draw than with a big made hand. Please get the money in ahead on the flop and dont worry about losing
