Still gets heavy rotation, I see.

[/ QUOTE ]

what is that?

[/ QUOTE ]It's a trashcan, isn't it? I don't know why it'd be heavily rotating.

[/ QUOTE ]
Probably means the DVD on top. Rounders?

Turnip:
My commute is about 1-1.5 hours depending. Sometimes I linger and it takes 2. It's all trains and walking tho so I can write and read and drink coffee and talk to womens. When I lived near my work I drove 1/2 hr to 45 mins and it stressed me out. So it's much nicer now. It's like cafe time.

kid: Definitely get a bike. Meanwhile what is that behind that truck, a mountain? Mountains rock!

kkf: I don't think you were hijacking, really. So many americans spend so much of their days going to work, especially here on the East Coast, it's important, I think, for us to examine our surroundings and not take them for granted. Younger people (not you obv, you big balla) should keep in mind how soul crushing a long or gridlocked drive can be, and/or consider using their feet and some alternative modes of transport when they are looking for jobs and places to live. I know an IT guy that took a 50k cut in pay to cut 3 hours off his daily highway dose and he doesnt regret it at all.

For you viewing pleasure, a thirty minute story told in pictures

we're off

love my neighborhood, thats my condo building on the right

alright, there's the bridge road. we're leaving the confines of our inter coastal island and headed for the city

its almost three miles to the mainland, tailor made speed trap for tourists. there's the police station/firehouse on the right

small cove for sailboats to park in

our first glimpse of downtown

we roll past the boat ramp, most of the fisherman have dropped in already. sigh, i [censored] hate mondays

ok, we've made it to shore

for a little perspective, i take a shot out of the sunroof of where we're leaving

WTF just happened!?!? we were at the beach and now we're in the hood! there's two regular panhandlers i see all the time, notice the cup for change. they are taking a break, its a quarter till ten after all and the morning shift is mostly over

what's that Chris Rock says about where they put the street named after Martin Luther King, Jr. and that you should run if you find yourself on one? hey, its his joke but its funny, because its true

sweet baby jesus!, there it is the intrastate. we're about half way there

hey, there's hardly any traffic today. even after 10 or eleven, I95 can be gridlock any day of the week

another shot of downtown. check out all those cranes. lots of preconstruction speculators who will be taking major baths and lots of bargains to be had soon

There's the Orange Bowl. you know, where the (Gangster) U plays

we get off the intrastate, only about 30 blocks to go

check out that Heineken sign, yes you are still in America

there's my building there. she's not pretty, but i get square footage at almost half of downtown, coral gables, or coconut grove, and unlimited parking. still close to everything

here's my office. its a sty i know, nothing i can do. never enough time in the day for everything don't you know, tho i have almost completed killing my lucky bamboo

my view, there's coconut grove at the end and on clear days i can see some of the upper keys. again, notice the lotto sign, millones = millions ftw

bonus pics:

my conference room. we got the landlord to put in the glass wall and the wood floors when we signed our last extension. not to mention, its got a decent view

aforementioned view.

FIN, hope you liked it. i had fun doing it so lets see some more
