Default Thoughts on this hand

SS just a huge pot (AK vs KK he was AK) other guy was fairly new to table, been there for maybe 3 orbits.

Looked like the caller could have alot of hands I could beat perhaps, idk, maybe 88 99 [censored] like that

dont like the PF call either but i guess its fine if youre trying to mix it up
anyway the flop is AWFULL
first of all the all in bet by shorty says to me he has some kind of overpair or maybe Ax
the flat call by MP2 rings some bells
its hard to lay it down here JJ is kinda borderline for me
altho after thinking that if MP2 had 55-TT he would shove
maybe even with QQ
wich leaves me with either KK-AA or a weak play by drawing
(if i had a draw here i would def raise to get heads up with shorty)

so its a fold i dont like it but its a fold

I think stacking off with an overpair given MP1s shortness is fine on the flop.
Preflop is interesting. I guess playing it normally & raising to ~5.5Kish is probably best. But I don't hate flatting. I might even succumb to FPS here & raise to 3500, since MP1 is shoving a very large amount of the time over that & if MP2 coldcalls again then he's an idiot & we're allowed to shove over it. But it's just a fancy, rubbish play. Shoving to look weak is also probably just FPS but also kind've okay since any raise to ~5.5K commits us anyway & getting flatted isn't particularly great. So in conclusion there's a few different options but just play ABC & raise to ~5.5K

If you post the results it kills the discussion. I'm not gonna even try to analyze this because all I find myself doing is looking for ways we could have known MP2 was that strong.

Yeah... please don't post results and use a more descriptive subject line than "thoughts on this hand."

Include stuff buy-in and where it is in the tourney (near bubble, ITM, etc.)

I raise preflop to isolate the smaller stack. Most likely result is that original raiser shoves his little stack and the cold caller folds. And that's fine with me.

I might even shove it in here depending on what I know about the cold-caller.

Yeah it's so hard to be honest now... I probably shove here based on MP1's stack and to isolate. Now I look like an idiot b/c of results haha.

I didn't read your results until after you posted. No way to put him on AA here. A lot of times this is small pairs and broadways. Certainly often enough that raising is +EV.
