if you check, tank first so it looks like you're scared of the T.

and yea, check seems like a good play here, i think you've got the right read on his range (busted draw/T). he might even donk-shove JJ or A9 or something else, rex grossman style.

I don't like it.
I guess against this donk is better to shove river.
Because he's NEVER folding a ten anyway, plus if he feels bluffed would call with some hands that check behind river (A9,K9,77-88).

Obv I'm assuming villain is a big donk; without this assumption checking river is fine.

i actually shoved the river because of what you just said zio_slim and he folded. i think he had a whiffed draw, but before i shoved i thought about checking beacuse i thought it woulda been sick if he jammed a draw, but instead i woulda felt stupid if he checked back so i just jammed and put him to a decision for all his chips ! lol

I like check here. He definately won't expect the c/r if you get it, and the river c/r could appear to be a bluff and get him to shove. Also, if you both check it may discourage a few bluffs in the future when you're in marginal spots because he'll have seen you check the nuts to him.

Dont' like it. Pretty much what Josh said. You'll get looked up by 66 here. Its better to check if you bet less on turn.

I like it. I think you do a lot better going for the checkraise here. IMO, it's very very rare a 40/15 aggro/bad who's annoyed with you passes up the chance of bluffing you in a $1000 pot when it's been checked to him on a river scare card for what looks like you're overpair.

A9 is the only hand you maybe losing value from but that's is def. over weighed by missing draws here.

ya i actually like it a lot too.

Yeah I love a river check, he will bluff this river a decent amount with a missed draw because he can so easily rep a T trying to get you off an overpair or something.

You lose value specifically against stuff like 9x or JJ or something, but most of his range is draws I think and if he is overaggro you definitely should check the river. Some donks will like never ever bluff this river when they miss their draw. Checking clearly is bad vs them since their bluffing frequency is sooo low, but here it's a perfect spot imo.
