Default A confusing TPTK hand

BB is an unknown. UTG is 55/4/1.10

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (6.33 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.66 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, UTG calls, Hero ?

There was only one good semi-bluffing hand on the rainbow flop (86) and it got there. Is he 3-betting something I beat?

well you're almost getting odds to beat Q7, and he could have worse than that. he could have a set but imo that's a small part of his range. it's possible that he has KQ/AQ. i'd call down.

I'd call this down too. You may be behind to a two pair hand like Q7s. A set is unlikely since he'd be more inclined to raise the turn instead of betting out the flop.

Considering folding this is pretty bad IMO.

This is one of those hands that BB probably caught a set or 2 pair and was planning on c/c the flop and then c/r the turn. When UTG bets, you raised, he got worried and 3 bet the flop. I don't see him having less than 2 pair here. I would fold.

I know players do some crazy things at these levels, but 3 betting QT into the preflop raiser is something I have rarely, if ever seen.

Let him know what he's won.....
A showdown, absent a Daniel N like Obi wan read as to what his exact holding is calling down is standard.
