fdwarrior, I check/call here. Hope he value-bets QQ (lol). I can't really get rid of a set. We are nearly placing our hand face-up, but that is the price of this river.

I c/c here and expect to see the A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] quite frequently.

I would c/c here I can't release the set for one more BB in that pot.

Unfortunately he likely was in there with something like AK or AQ of course containing the A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Tough spot.

Agee with everone else c/c river. Better return than bet/ folding.

Being the pedant I am though, I'd have preferred to have seen a flop lead.

My initial reaction was to slow down on the turn. Hero has shown villain some real aggression on the flop and was raised on the turn anyway.

Is this bad?

I don't slow down, the combination of the times I'm ahead plus the likely-hood of me improving makes this a longterm +ev play in my opinion.

I do check/call the river.

I'd play it the same way and c/c the river. Nice hand.

I hate this hand. I would have lead out on the flop to check called the river but this hand never has a happy ending for me.
