i thought about putting dead wrong in here b/c the lyrics are obv violent, but biggy doesn't have the same level of rage in voice that pac does. his voice is so much smoother and more mellow than tupac's, who basically always sounds like he wants to kill someone

very true. i just noted it b/c op said he wanted to be able to feel the emotion in the words. no doubt that this isn't violent, it's just not as angry.

Yeah some of these rappers don't get me very pumped even though there rappin bout some crazy ish. Pac is pretty much king of these rage songs to fire you up. Hard to compare anyone else to him in this department.
