i would raise to 80 or 100 but rarely continuation bet when i flopped nothing

This is a raise. You have to think that they can be limping with so many hands. Try and get the pot heads up with a raise and then I C'bet the flop 100% of the time. If I make a large raise preflop and wiff on the flop then its C/F

i make it 120 and cbet ~75% of flops that i miss (giving up on the drawiest/scariest boards)

This is from a Belowabove video. I was wondering what his videos would be like, because he is a fairly successful aggressive player, but I don't think he understands a lot of the "book" play.
He raised to 80 on the theory that the limpers would call 200, and he didn't want to build the pot too much OOP with a drawing hand. Usually people raise more OOP if they raise. I would just make a standard raise of 120 or a little more and generally check/fold the flop with it is multiway and I miss. |
