Default How much does your winrate drop when you move up?

if you have a 5ptbb/100 winner @ 2/4 over a long sample
and put him in 5/10 games. How much do you think his winrate drops?

from 5/10 to 10/20?

from 10/20 to 25/50?

I've just been thinking about this. Thoughts anyone?

yup and it's likely gonna drop a ton right off the start, and once you get adjusted gradually get better.

5ptbb at 2/4 is likely barely a winner at 5/10

dunno about higher but for 5/10 divide winrate by 1.77 and subtract 2

2/4 5ptbb/100 winners, look to your right. now look to your left. now look at a few other people probably. only one of you will be a substantial winner at 5/10+ unless you are all of the following:

a) have the right mental strengths
b) work your ass off
c) keep your head straight
d) create your own style

Cause 5/10 players know exactly how a 2/4 player thinks, exploit it, and the 2/4er is probably not good enough to understand how to combat it.
