I'm a Cavaliers fan, but I do think the Spurs were easily the best team in the league last year

[/ QUOTE ]

lol

FWIW the lakers wouldnt get swept by any of the top 3 WC teams. This doesnt mean they were better than the Cavs though, I sorta agree with kc about their supporting cast being underrated.

EDIT: laughing about the "easily" part btw, they could have been the best, who knows

Fly,

You should post in the High Stakes Poker threads in the televised poker forum. You would fit right in.

Assani- Listen BUCKO, trolling the same weak material twice is not good trolling(Eight or nine times might be though! SONNED!!!!). I brought your name up because you are closely associated with terrible and dishonest analysis of the NBA. It's shorthand. Come on, it's attention, I know you love it.

Quick, explain how Steve Nash is better than Larry Bird(oh, wait, Bird is white too. OK, Magic Johnson). And.... GO!

[/ QUOTE ]

You're just about the only one that associates me with that. Nearly everyone else thinks I'm a solid NBA poster. Even still, it was an unwarranted attack. Seriously, I've made you my SON more times than I can remember.

People really don't think the spurs were the best team in the league in the regular season last year?

I mean, come on ppl, this is 2p2, you guys should know about point differential by now.

You can't even count to ZERO? LOL!OLO!L....SONNED! I'll be here all week.
Seriously, Assani, I'm a magnanimous guy so I'll offer you some free therapy. What is lacking about your life that makes you get enjoyment from trolling strangers on the internet?

Daddy didn't give attention?
To the fact that mommy didn't care?

FlyWf,

I didn't mention your name. You mentioned mine. And with it you insulted me. I then responded. How does that make me the troll? Seriously. Stop and re-think the events for a second. You're pretty much permanently SONNED at this point.

see, I think 2p2 tends to go too far with this stuff. It's not the end all be all. Hollinger isn't the end all be all. I think the Spurs were the best, but I don't think it's so clear that it isn't worth debating. Mavs and Suns were damn good.

Colin,

Duncan/Manu/TP average like 96 min/game in the reg season. When this goes up to close to 120 in the playoffs, you get 24 replacement minutes that DON'T go to Matt Bonner or Jacque Vaughn, and instead go to Duncan or Parker. This is huge. This is why even if they don't win the most reg season games, they are still the favorites to win the title with a healthy big three while Duncan is in his prime.
