I called preflop intending to play it like the following postflop (having MP bet and BB get out), but in retrospect I think I should just reraise preflop; correct?

your line is fine depending on how often BB coldcalls 3bets.

i would probably just make a big 4bet preflop

obviously you played it perfectly postflop
