no, kahnawake is a joke. merely a front.

[/ QUOTE ]

A front who provides a license for them to hold servers. Perhaps the threat that I will involve media and expose that the Indians allow illegal cheating to go on in Quebec, might get them to pull absolutes license?

[/ QUOTE ]

the license doesn't mean anything. none of it does.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why would it mean nothing? please explain?

[/ QUOTE ]

it's not like the gaming commission in nevada. there is no regulating, no policing, no enforcement of anything. it's just an empty stamp that suggests the site is legitimate, but actually means nothing.

I am not so sure, I would have to imagine that they are regulated by the Quebec government and can give licenses out as they wish, but not to crooked companies. If I were to suggest the media or legal action (if possible) then they might force Absolute to look elsewhere no?

Instead of being so vague, could you provide insight as to how you know this? Just a little detail. I for one think that people being scammed to the tune of 1 million dollars is something worth looking into. I might not be the best person to do it, so thats why I am asking for your guys help.

The Kahnawake Gaming Commission is a rubber stamp. They are not interested in hearing about misbehaviour by the companies they license.

For instance:

[ QUOTE ]
Only one response to a customer complaint is listed on the group's website, that Golden Palace Casino disrupted the 2004 Olympic Games. The casino was told by the Commission to make a donation to Mohawk charities and that "Golden Palace will not use, promote, encourage or fund this type of ‘marketing’ ever again". However, the casino proceeded to also disrupt the 2006 Winter Olympics. No action was taken against the casino by Kahnawake.

[/ QUOTE ]

Funny, that.

If they were regulated by Quebuec law it would be a Canadian company.. and not given a license by an indian reservation. I thought it was common knowledge that there is no real regulation of licenses and KGC is just a way for the indians to make more money.

It's not the greatest of posts and it's likely a little dated, but it IS in the internet gambling FAQ that someone took the time to write to stop people having to get sarcastic about things.

Fk the haters, bring a tape recorder and piles of evidence (potripper HHs obv) and explain to them as calmly and rationally as possible how this proves that Absolute is [censored] up.

This is doomed to fail but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be awesome.

Actually that's what I planned on doing, getting in under the pretence I was looking to get a license. Then ask calmly about the situation.

Is that something you would be interested in?
